Cooking Tips

*You can substitue sugar for the sweetner of your choice.

*You do not have to add food coloring to the recipe.

*Use a fork to break it down.

*If it is too frozen, just sit it out on the counter for 20-25 minutes. Use a fork to break down and serve to your friends and family.

Cleansing Lime Sherbert Recipe

Ingredients

• 4-1/4 Cups Sugar

• 1-1/2 Cups Lime Juice

• 3 Tablespoons lemon juice

• 2 Tablespoons grated lime peel

• 7-1/2 Cups milk

• 1/2 Cup Buttermilk

• 1 Drop green food coloring, *Optional

Cooking Directions

1. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, and lime peel until well blended. Gradually stir in milk, buttermilk and food coloring if desired; Mix well.

2. Pour into the cylinder of an ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

Serving Size: 2.5 Quarts

*Recipe may need to be frozen in 2 batches
