Fluffy Puff Ham Salad

A seafood salad that is healthy and delicious.

Rarely do I ever have any leftovers when I make this appetizing dish for family gatheirngs and potlucks or work engagements.It is refreshing, and the edible bowl makes is fun to serve. Children and adults alike will love this.

Fluffy Puff Ham Salad


  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 4 eggs

  • 1-1/2 cups cubed fully cooked ham

  • 2 celery ribs, chopped

  • 1/2 cup cooked small shrimp

  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions

  • 1/2 cup maypnaise

  • 1 teaspoon dillweed

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • lettuce leaves

  • additional dill weed*optional

Cooking Directions

1. In a large saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil

2. Add flour and salt all at once, stirring until a smooth ball forms.

3. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes

4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue to beat until mixture is smooth and shiny.

5. Spread dough into bottom and up the sides of a greased 9 inch pie plate.

6. Bale at 400 F for 30-35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

7. Prick the puff with a fork. Cook on a wire rack.

8.In a bowl, combine ham, celerey, chrimp,green pepper, onions, mayonnaise, dill, salt, and pepper.

9. Line puff with lettuce leaves.

10. Fill with Ham mixture and garnish with dill if desired.

Refridgerate leftovers.
