I am a perfectionist. It has taken me a long time to admit that and to say it out loud. The thing about being a perfectionist is that you can paint yourself in a caroner with all of your unrealistic expectations and notions about hot and why you have to be 'perfect'. My former profession allowed me to stay comfortable in my perfection. Retiring and having to reevaluate my life and my passions was one of the scariest things I have ever done. When I made the decision to start a food and lifestyle blog it was like the Universe opened up and propelled me forward.
I Started this blog in late March. Less than 90 days later I am competing in a cooking competition, and a few days after that I launched my cookbook. It has been such an honor and a blessing to be able to share my journey with you. I hope that one of you will feel inspired and pursue your passions as well, because I know firsthand that the Universe will provide for you if you are open to it and prepared.
